The ATAS Management Board (Trustees) are elected annually in a General Assembly. The last AGM took place on 1 November 2024, and the following Management Board was elected.







Governance Structure
ATAS is a member-driven organisation with its members at the heart of its operations. A Management Committee is elected from amongst ATAS members by the ATAS General Assembly at the Annual General Meeting. This Management Committee serves as the Charity’s Trustees for 1 term (1 year).
In order to maintain a system of checks and balances, and to ensure smooth operations, ATAS has a Steering Committee, made up of former Management Committee members. The Steering Committee is not elected by the General Assembly, but rather through elections held within former Management Committee members. The Steering Committee is an advisory and monitoring body, with limited powers to take tangible action.
The ATAS Management Committee is free to recruit ATAS volunteers to support with day-to-day operations and wider projects. These volunteers are selected by the Management Committee, and do not need to be elected.
